15×15 cm, acrylic paint on stretched linen canvas, 2026
from 'Pasko' Series (Pasko is the Tagalog or Filipino word for Christmas)
Puto is a Filipino steamed rice cake, traditionally made from slightly fermented rice dough (galapong). It is eaten as is or as an accompaniment to a number of savoury dishes. Filipino puto is mostly on the sweet side and flavors can vary from classic or plain (off-white), cheese (mild yellow), pandan (light green), salted egg (as toppings on classic instead of the usual cheese slices), strawberry and ube. It is typically served in Noche Buena (a traditional Filipino Christmas Eve feast that marks the beginning of the Christmas season).
each original painting comes with Certificate of Authenticity and is signed and sealed for UV protection
